Privacy Policy

Effective October 12, 2026

PatrickHA is a private household application operated by Ron Patrick. This policy describes its handling of data when an owner or authorized household user uses the application or connects an optional integration.

Data accessed

How data is used

Data is used to authenticate authorized users, display supported household device information, execute requested actions and configured routines, show authorized camera content, and diagnose or secure the application. Google-derived data is used for these household features, not advertising, sale, or general-purpose model training.

Storage and retention

Configuration and integration credentials are stored on the owner-managed server. Credentials use restricted-access storage; owner passwords are verified using password hashes. Current device reports and active connections are maintained in memory, with selected configuration, reports, and household history persisted locally.

Camera content may be buffered for viewing. Enabled local event recording retains short clips under bounded retention limits. Operational records and owner-managed backups may retain earlier configuration or reports until removed. Disabling an integration or revoking Google access does not automatically erase existing local history or backups.

Sharing and third-party services

PatrickHA does not sell household or Google user data or provide it to advertising platforms. Data is available to authorized household accounts and services needed for enabled features. When the owner enables Google Home sharing, selected device names, rooms, capabilities, state, command results, and authorized camera streams may be sent to Google.

Enabled account-based device integrations exchange the information needed for their functionality with their providers. Optional voice features use the owner's configured speech and interpretation services. Google and other providers process their own service requests under their respective policies; see Google's Privacy Policy.

Google data and limited use

Google user data is used only for the household functionality explained here. Its use and transfer are subject to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. This statement does not claim Google verification or endorsement.

Access, security, and removal

The private device and camera interfaces require authorized access. Public information pages do not provide household inventory, live state, credentials, or video. Google and the public web interface use HTTPS; access to server data remains the household operator's responsibility.

You can revoke Google account access through Google's account-permission or partner-connection controls. The operator can remove stored integration configuration, household data, retained recordings, and backups. Contact the operator to request access, correction, or removal of stored personal data.
